Domaine des Loges

── ⋆⋅✧₊🍂₊✧⋅⋆ ──

2025 Domaine des Loges Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie

The 2025 Domaine des Loges Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie is a crisp, Atlantic-influenced Loire white with lemon, green apple, sea spray, and crushed-shell minerality. Aging sur lie gives the wine a subtle roundness and added texture while preserving the clean, bracing freshness that defines classic Muscadet. The palate is dry, bright, and refreshing, with citrus, saline lift, and a firm mineral finish.

Le Piane

── ⋆⋅✧₊🍂₊✧⋅⋆ ──

2024 Le Piane 'Bianko' Vino Bianco

The 2024 Bianko, 100% Erbaluce, is bright, vibrant and super refreshing. Lemon oil, mint, white pepper, chalk and a hint of exotic fruit are all finely sculpted in the glass. Gorgeous inner sweetness emerges over time. The 2024 is one of the best vintages I have tasted of the Bianko, maybe the best.

Di Lenardo

── ⋆⋅✧₊🍂₊✧⋅⋆ ──

2025 Di Lenardo Chardonnay Venezia Giulia IGT

The 2025 Chardonnay showcases Di Lenardo's aromatic Musqué clone in a fresh, unoaked style. Orange blossom, white flowers, green apple, and pear mingle with lemon zest, white peach, and a delicate honeyed note. The palate is crisp yet lightly rounded, with vibrant acidity and subtle lees texture carrying orchard fruit through a clean, saline-mineral finish with lingering citrus.

Viñedos y Bodegas Pablo

── ⋆⋅✧₊🍂₊✧⋅⋆ ──

2022 Menguante Cariñena Tempranillo

Deep purple in color, with aromas of raspberry, strawberry, dark fruit, vanilla, chocolate, and subtle roasted notes from barrel aging. On the palate, the wine is strong and complex, with ripe red fruit, soft oak spice, and a creamy texture. The finish is smooth and persistent, carrying Tempranillo’s fruit-forward character with a polished, lightly toasted edge.

Château des Antonins

── ⋆⋅✧₊🍂₊✧⋅⋆ ──

2022 Château des Antonins Bordeaux Supérieur Rouge

The 2022 Bordeaux Supérieur is an equal blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon that combines ripe dark fruit with supple, classic Bordeaux structure and approachable depth. Black cherry and cassis are layered with toasted notes, subtle spice, and a distinctive touch of blond tobacco. The palate is smooth and inviting, with integrated tannins giving shape to the fruit before a balanced, savory finish with lingering dark-fruit character.

Rocca di Castagnoli

── ⋆⋅✧₊🍂₊✧⋅⋆ ──

2021 Rocca di Castagnoli Chianti Classico Riserva 'Poggio A'Frati' DOCG

The 2021 Chianti Classico Riserva Poggio a' Frati is sensual and silky in the glass. Ripe tannins wrap around a core of red-toned fruit, blood orange and pomegranate, conveying total sensuality. Floral and citrus overtones appear later, adding further dimensions and brightness. This is a wine of extreme elegance.

Voliero

── ⋆⋅✧₊🍂₊✧⋅⋆ ──

2018 Voliero Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

The 2018 Brunello di Montalcino has a remarkably pretty bouquet, with sweet lavender and violet giving way to citrus-laced blackberries. It’s soothingly round and perfumed, with stony mineral tones up front, ripe wild berry fruits and soft textures. Bright acidity adds lift toward the close. Wild citrus tones meld with wild herbs, exotic spices and subtly grippy tannins through the long, energetic finish. This has always been a standout for the vintage, but I didn't expect it to improve so much over the last few years.
