The 2024 Valdobbiadene Brut Dirupo is understated, with a nuanced blend of freshly snipped mint, citrus zest and wet stones. It's pleasantly sweet up front, with zesty acidity to balance. Squeaky clean, the 2024 leaves a slight saline sensation as it finishes with medium length.

2022 Camp Frole Moscato d’Asti

The 2022 Moscato d'Asti is pretty, soft and delicate. White peach, pear, and floral notes mingle with green apples and pears in this delicious and hugely appealing Moscato built on freshness, persistence, an impeccable balance. The vineyards are located in the heart of Moscato country produce a version of Piedmont’s sweet sparkling dessert wine that is gorgeous.

2024 Tamellini Soave DOC

Pure aromas and flavors of white peach, yellow apple, white flowers and delicate herbs. Fresh It’s soft in texture yet energized by brilliant acids and notes of citrus giving way to ripe orchard fruits. This turns floral and a bit tropical through the finale, with hints of mango and papaya lingering long. Very well done!

2022 Domaine Michel Viré‑Clessé “Tradition” Chardonnay

The 2022 Viré-Clessé Tradition spent 12 months in stainless steel before bottling, aged on the fine lees. It has a lovely bouquet with lovely Seville orange marmalade and apricot scents. The palate is crisp with a touch of orange rind and quince, moderate depth, slightly bitter towards the finish with modest length. Fine purity here.

Straw-yellow in the glass. Fresh, lifted aromas of ripe pear, golden apple, and a touch of citrus zest are layered with subtle herbal and almond nuances. On the palate, it’s clean and vibrant, with a soft, rounded texture balanced by bright acidity. Flavors echo the nose with orchard fruit and a hint of minerality, leading to a smooth, medium-length finish that is crisp, refreshing, and effortlessly drinkable.

2022 Menguante Cariñena Garnacha

Deep magenta. Spice-accented red berries and cherry with a hint of white pepper and minerals on the nose. Juicy and focused on the palate with hints of cherry, a touch of licorice on the plush and jammy palate that shows off a nice chocolate note on the back half. The spicy note repeats on the lively, gently tannic finish, which shows good persistence and appealing sweetness. These vines are between 60 and 150 years of age.

2023 Domenico Clerico Langhe Nebbiolo “Capisme‑e”

Here is an easy-drinking Nebbiolo made in stainless steel only. The Domenico Clerico 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo Capisme-e is tangy and spicy with dried raspberry, tart cherry and white pepper. There are hints of dried ginger and licorice at the back. This was a difficult vintage because of heat and humidity, and the results are leaner in terms of mouthfeel.
