Behind the Cellar Door Imports is a boutique wine importing and distribution company focused on sourcing distinctive, high‑quality wines from independent producers around the world. 2022 Menguante Cariñena Garnacha
Deep magenta. Spice-accented red berries and cherry with a hint of white pepper and minerals on the nose. Juicy and focused on the palate with hints of cherry, a touch of licorice on the plush and jammy palate that shows off a nice chocolate note on the back half. The spicy note repeats on the lively, gently tannic finish, which shows good persistence and appealing sweetness. These vines are between 60 and 150 years of age.
