Sip and See: Discover the World of Behind the Cellar Door Imports
LIRAC RED
A deep ruby colour with violet tints. Complex nose of vanilla, fruits and griotte-cherries. The attack is rich and firm; the mouth expresses long lasting nuances of vanilla and pepper. This is a smooth and rich wine with a very
good length.
COTE DU RHÔNE
Very tasty with aromas of ripe fruit, cherry, blackcurrant and undergrowth.
Soft in the mouth with good concentration. You will find a very round and charming wine
in your bottle.
CHÂTEAUNEUF DU PAPE
A strong ruby colour with a purple tinge.
It gives a complex nose of cinnamon, cooked fruits and morello cherry. After a rich and
firm attack, the mouth expresses vanilla and pepper aromas which persist to the final. It’s
a supple and rich wine with a very good length in mouth.
Domaine Lafond & Fils
Pascal Odoyer, the great-uncle of Jean-Pierre Lafond, was one of the first winegrowers in Tavel. The estate was passed down through generations, with Valéry Taulier, Pascal Lafond's grandfather, playing a crucial role in developing the Tavel appellation. Jean-Pierre Lafond, Valéry Taulier's son-in-law, founded Domaine Lafond Roc-Epine, named after a famous horse race. Pascal Lafond, Jean-Pierre's son, joined the estate in 1978, and together they decided to sell only bottled wines. The estate achieved organic certification in 2012.
