With a focus on high quality wine and peak tasting experiences, our goal has been to find, import, and distribute fine wines produced by artisans who extract the best wines possible from their combinations of earth, vine, and weather.
The late Angelo embodied the spirit of the self-made Piedmontese grower who took a sleepy family-run winery and turned it into a world-class estate in just one generation. Wine has been bottled at this estate for three generations by the Rocca family. Today Angelo's son in law Carlo and his three daughters Paola, Monica and Daniela continue making very fine wines with enologist Beppe Caviola. Their wines reflect the unique terroir they stem from and the passion of this talented family as acknowledged by the Italian and the international press.
This year is the first year for Albino Rocca to make a Langhe Nebbiolo (90 Nebbiolo 10 Cabernet Franc) and it is a tasty, value priced bottling. Red cherry, spice, mint all explode from the glass. These notes follow through in the glass and are enhanced with flowers, orange, graphite, and pepper. Nice balanced acidity and a medium finish are accompanied by a great fresh fruit palate.
